Biogum is based on a starch glue manufactured by Cléopâtre in the 1950s, Supergomme. New starch properties, modern processes and our expertise in working with starch have allowed us to develop a new glue, strong enough for cardboard but suitable for children. Advantage of starch based glues: their water content is lower than synthetic glues and avoids the paper crinkling.
Use
Biogum glue can be used by 6-year-olds and over for glueing paper and cardboard. It dries rapidly and is perfect for glueing photocopies. It is also reversible: it becomes liquid again on contact with water, which makes cleaning easier.
